Bio
Alec Parrish is a drummer, music director, drum technician, and Ableton designer based out of Nashville, TN. As a player, Alec is characterized by an impeccable feel and powerful, charismatic service to the song. As a technician, he is often praised for his ability to adapt to the styles of the player, tour, or show. With his background in Ableton programming, Alec often uses hybrid drum kits both live and in the studio. Growing up in musically rich Athens, GA, Alec's influences of Pop, Indie, and Rock music have carried heavily into his professional career.
Alec is currently touring as drum technician and playback engineer with Nashville Country artist Ella Langley, but his other credits include drumming and/or music directing for Alana Springsteen, Walker Hayes, Danielle Bradbery, Carter Faith, Tenille Arts, Tyler Rich, & Timmy Brown. Alec has created or contributed to the Ableton shows for Danielle Bradbery, Devin Dawson, Morgan Evans, Tenille Arts, Ryan Hurd, ZZ Ward, Ingrid Andress, Alexandra Kay, and Eli Young Band. He is also available for remote sessions with live or programmed drums.
Outside of performing and recording, Alec loves to teach Ableton lessons and share the wealth of knowledge he has accumulated from working with the program for over a decade.
